guide for submitting flare[x] content

Introduction

If you want to submit lensFlares (single / pack), alphaMods (single / pack) or even sites you have created that use flare[x], please follow these guidelines to make it easier for us in publishing your content.

What you should include

Please submit lensFlares separate from alphaMods. If you are submitting a lensFlare, an alphaMod, or a pack of either:

Ensure your files are ZIPped up. You may use just about any popular file compression program to do this.
If you wish, you may include the FLA source as well, however you are under no obligation to.

Ensure that your content works properly with flare[x]. A little bit of testing goes a long, long way.

Be sure to include a text file (.TXT) inside your ZIP file which contains the following information:

• Your name / alias
• Creation date / version (if you wish)
• A website link if appropriate
• Copyright information
• Permitted usage (commercial, non-commercial etc)
• Any other information deemed relevant to the release of your content

After you have completed the above steps, send your ZIP file to dthought@virtual-fx.net
We will then check your submission and publish it on the downloadable goodies page. You will be contacted should there be any outstanding issues which need to be resolved.
