*flare[x] source code has been released in the Goodies section
What is flare[x]? flare[x] is a free flash routine that you can use to create and implement an infinite number of lensflares, entirely from within Macromedia Flash. It can be used as eyecandy, as part of an animation or anything else you may wish to use a lensflare for. The lensFlares you can create are only limited by your imagination... and Flash itself. To use flare[x] you will need some basic actionScripting knowledge. If you are a beginner with Flash, you might still be able to get flare[x] to work for you. If you run in to troubles, post a message on the flare[x] message board. Please do not email us directly; We are unable to respond to individual support requests.
flare[x] was created by digital thought exclusively for the virtual-fx.net Flash community.
Learn how to integrate the flare[x] code with your Flash work If you're excited and want to learn how to integrate flare[x] with your Flash based designs, then this is the perfect place to start.
